Though still very much in the midst of exams, todays BioSoc was an eventful session to say the least.
Firstly, we delved into the real depth of why we taste, expanding on a previous presentation about smell and taste. This covered receptors, grape tannins, why wines taste nice and man-made meat.
We concluded with an amusing taste test of some chilli peppers…(see below)
